Join us January 30th for the first ever Tea Party Congress!
This even is Free and open to anyone. In January 30th, we the people of Northern and Upper Michigan, will gather together in Saint Ignace to list our grievences towards our federal Government, and organize ourselves for the election year.
The Agenda for the Event is as Follows:
Call to orderIntroductions and Representation of Tea Party Groups
Creation of a Tea Party Alliance.
- Discussion and Vote
Identification of specific grievances towards our federal government.
Deliberation and Voting
Written, Signed and Delivered to our Rep and Senators and State Parties.
Creation of a Calendar to post events. Google Calendar – logins for all.
Discussion of shared email lists versus networked email lists. Do we compile 1 giant list, or do we identify the individuals who hold these lists and forward through them.
Election of a Delegate and an alternative for our district in case Michigan has a larger Tea Party Convention then we are prepared and organized.
Dissemination of Webpages, blogs, facebook groups, etcetera. So that we are all intertwined and interconnected.
